Abu Miska Enterprise has been supplying since the early 60´s the Northern Region of Yemen with Food and Fabric. Since the early days it was adventurous travels from the Main Ports Aden and Hodeida to the Capital of the Northern Region Sadaa. A single journey these days could take up to three weeks and the main means of transport at this time were horses and carriages.
1968 | Sheikh Ahmed Abu Miska, up to day the President of Abu Miska Enterprises for trading and contracting , employed the first Car in Sadaa to service between Aden, Sanaa and Sadaa. |
1975 | The first Central Warehouse in Sadaa is build by Abu Miska. |
1976 | A Central Warehouse in Reidah is build. |
1975 – 1978 | The Business expanded into import of Tobacco from and export of Coffee to Saudi Arabia . |
1979 | Abu Miska Enterprises takes over the sole distribution of Hayel Saeed Anam Products for the entire North of Yemen. |
1979 | First Showroom build in Sanaa |
1980 | Founding of Abu Miska Construction Division and first contract award for the Central School Building in Sadaa. |
1980 – 1985 | Abu Miska Construction build Schools and Health Centers all over the North of Yemen. |
1983 | Founding of Abu Miska Drilling Division and purchase of first Drilling Rig operated in Sadaa. |
1983 -1990 | Abu Miska Drilling Division purchases 10 Drilling Rigs and operates on National Level. |
1986 | Sadaa Dam is awarded to Abu Miska Enterprises. |
1988 | Sana’a Dam is completed. |
1989 | Abu Miska Trade Division starts with import and distribution of Spare Parts for Light and Heavy Machinery, Down hole Equipment and Drilling Fluids . |
1994 | Hisham Abu Miska joins Abu Miska Enterprises as General Man- Ager. |
1994 | Abu Miska Enterprises starts its Jebel Ali Operation. |
1995 | Abu Miska Construction starts its Road Construction Business. |
1999 | Abu Miska Construction is awarded with 80 km highway project in Abyan. |
2000 | The Abyan Project is completed. |
2001 | Abu Miska is awarded with the Wells for the Grand Mosque in Sanaa. |
2002 | Abu Miskah Enterprises becomes the largest contracting com- pany in the North of Yemen. |
2003 | 435 km Highway construction is awarded to Abu Miska Enter- prises. It is the largest infrastructure project in Hadramout. |
2004 | Abu Miska Enterprises restructures its company according to the major strategic business. |
2006 | The number of employees in the Headquarters and the Project sites exceeds 500 heads for the first time in the company’s history. |
2015 | Opened Abu miska Enterprises branch for water well Drilling and other construction Services in the Republic of Djibouti . |
